Poetry Writing Workshop with Sarah Blake
Sunday April 26, 6:30-8pm
Have you ever wondered how poets turn their life experiences into verses that make your heart beat faster? Do you write poems in your free time and want to take them to the next level?
Join Sarah Blake to learn about the writing techniques that poets use to transform personal narratives into words that move and inspire. We will read and discuss some powerful contemporary poems, delve into what makes a poem tick, learn about publishing, and do some writing exercises. Come for an evening of creativity during National Poetry Month!

Likely General is not a scent-free space. There is an accessibly ramp to enter the store but our washrooms are down a flight of stairs. We offer two spots at all workshops at a lesser rate to increase accessibly for folks that otherwise might not be able to attend -- please choice this option only if needed.
