Palmistry Mug

Handmade by Lindsay Gravelle, Toronto-based arts educator and ceramist.

She studied Studio Art at The University of Western Ontario, Ceramics at Sheridan College, and holds a MEd in Adult Education and Community Development from OISE.

Her ceramics combine wheel throwing and hand building, and incorporate various illustrative and decorative techniques. Exploring clay and glaze chemistry is a large part of her practice, highlighting and altering surface designs and illustrations with glaze effects, slips, and ceramic additives.
